Petunias are very easy to start from seed. Especially the pelleted ones. Because every seed germinates where you place the pellet. Well at least it does for me. 😅 They are super rewarding all summer long and remarkably cold hardy also. During the Fall months when everything was dying they were still going strong for me.

These are Appleblossom Petunias which were started indoors under lights. I will harden them off before placing outside. They tend to not like a lot of rain when in full bloom but they always bounce back even after many April rain showers.

One pellet per space was all it took! 6 plants
